What we keep, and why.

FreePeriodicals.net is operated by FreePeriodicals.com (Vancouver). This page explains what happens to the details you send us through the forms on this site. We follow the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act.

What we collect

When you request a quote we keep your name, company, email, phone, publication details and the footprint you selected. When you apply to host a stand we keep the venue name and address, your contact details, the space and traffic estimates you give us, and the publication categories you would decline. If you write to us through the general form we keep your name, email and message. Every form also records the time it was sent and a hashed version of your connection address, used only to block automated submissions.

What we do with it

We use these details to answer your request, prepare a quote, arrange a visit, and run the distribution you asked for. Venue contact details are shown only to our crew and office staff. Publisher details are used for the publisher relationship and for the proof reports we send you. We do not sell or share these details with anyone else, and we do not use them for advertising.

Proof photos

Our crew photographs each stand on each visit to prove placement. Photos show the stand and the copies in it. We review every photo before it appears on this site or in a publisher report, and we do not publish photos that show people in a way that identifies them. If a photo of your venue should come down, tell us and it comes down.

Cookies

The public site sets one session cookie, used to protect the forms against forgery. It contains no personal details and expires when you close your browser. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Use the general form and we will confirm by email. We keep inquiry details for as long as the relationship is active and delete them when you ask or when they are no longer needed.
